Master month-end close as a Financial Analyst with journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis supporting Societe Generale. Collaborate regularly in English.

This Financial Analyst role focuses on accounting activities across DFIN Canada. You will prepare prepaid and accrual entries, reclassifications, FX adjustments, and EQT fee accruals. The position also involves analyzing balances, resolving variances, and communicating with external auditors. Excel, Power BI, SAP, GLAAM, and Maestro support the work. Monthly and quarterly deadlines require solid time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Collaboration with colleagues and partners in the United States requires oral and written English communication.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and post prepaid and accrual journal entries




Reclassify entries to reconcile GMI and PSGL ledgers
Post FX sell down entries for foreign exchange adjustments
Analyze account balances and verify accuracy through BCT
Communicate with external auditors and prepare confirmation documents

Requirements:
Ability to interpret and analyze financial data
Attention to detail in entries, reclasses, and reconciliations
Experience navigating Excel, Power BI, SAP, GLAAM, and Maestro
English communication skills, orally and in writing
Ability to meet monthly and quarterly deadlines
