Drive national food account growth for Export Packers, combining commercial negotiations and profitability management from the Brampton office with hybrid flexibility.
This National Key Accounts Manager leads major retail customers across Canada, overseeing sales, profitability, distribution, and market share goals. You will create customer business plans, identify growth initiatives, and manage relationships with senior customer stakeholders. Your work will connect retail strategy with execution across procurement, product development, quality assurance, marketing, and finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop growth initiatives for assigned national retail accounts
Negotiate private label and national brand commercial terms
Prepare forecasts using customer needs, trends, and promotions
Coordinate customer programs, innovations,
launches, and promotional activities
Monitor performance and address gaps against agreed sales results
Requirements:
5+ years’ sales and account management experience in Canadian food
Preference for seafood, protein, frozen foods, or consumer packaged goods
Proven national retail account management experience
Experience negotiating annual agreements, pricing, and promotions
Ability to analyze performance and develop strategic solutions
Use food industry sales expertise, commercial negotiation, and profitability analysis to grow Export Packers’ largest retail accounts nationally.
