Coordinate Christmas Kettle locations in St. Albert using communication, volunteer support, and secure donation handling. This is a full time seasonal contract.
The Salvation Army seeks a Kettle Coordinator II to oversee several campaign locations, including malls, grocery stores, and retail outlets. You will support volunteers, manage daily transitions, and help maintain secure donation processes. The fixed-term Christmas season schedule varies at 35 hours weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Kettle delivery before volunteers arrive
Supervise, support, and assign Kettle Volunteers
Visit locations during changes and intermittently
Secure donations after completed shifts
Submit weekly timesheets and mileage reports
Requirements:
One year of related or customer service experience
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift 9 to 12 kilograms
Some high school coursework; completion is an asset
