This full time permanent Accounting Technician provides bookkeeping, accounting, taxation, and financial support services. You will manage monthly, quarterly, and annual processes while preparing tax returns and year-end files. The position also supports controller services, agricultural clients, and small businesses with timely financial information.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual client records
Process payroll, remittances, and account reconciliations
Prepare personal and corporate income tax returns
Complete year-end working papers and financial statements
Support agricultural and small business accounting inquiries
Requirements:
Accounting or bookkeeping coursework, certificate, or applicable experience
Knowledge of financial statement preparation and compliance
QuickBooks, iFirm, Simply Accounting, Ag Expert, and Microsoft Office proficiency
Tax courses, CRA knowledge, or tax software training considered an asset
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
