Provide evening internal medicine consultations remotely for North America, interpreting ultrasounds and laboratory results for veterinarians. Work Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evenings.
As an Internal Medicine Consultant with IDEXX Telemedicine, you will support general practitioners worldwide. You will transform patient histories, ultrasounds, and lab results into explicit diagnostic information. The part-time schedule requires at least one weekly shift from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm EST.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret ultrasounds, patient histories, and laboratory results
Provide diagnostic information to veterinary customers
Read cases using the reporting platform
Dictate transparent reports for each consultation
Support informed animal-care decisions during evening coverage
Requirements:
Board certification as an internist through ACVIM or ECVIM
Clear written and spoken English communication
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Analytical approach with prioritization and problem-solving abilities
Care for people and pets
Use internal medicine expertise, diagnostic interpretation, and explicit reporting to support veterinarians through IDEXX Telemedicine.
