Key Account Sales Manager | Automotive Manufacturing | Scarborough

I’m currently recruiting for a Key Account Sales Manager with a well established automotive components manufacturer in Scarborough.

This is a strong opportunity for someone with automotive commercial experience who enjoys the customer and quoting side of the business, but also wants to stay close to engineering, manufacturing and operations.

What makes the role compelling:
Manage an established portfolio of major OEM and Tier 1 customers
Own the RFQ, quotation and pricing process from start to finish
Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, quality and finance
Support new programs, engineering changes and ongoing commercial activity
Limited travel and no heavy cold calling
Individual contributor role with strong visibility to the VP, Sales
Long term chance to grow into broader commercial leadership

What we’re looking for:
3 to 5+ years of automotive account management, sales or commercial experience
Strong hands on RFQ and quoting experience
Understanding of manufacturing costs including material, tooling, labour, processing and capital
Experience working directly with OEM or Tier 1 customers
Strong Excel and commercial analysis skills




Ability to read technical drawings and work comfortably with engineering teams

Experience with metal stamping, chassis, formed metal components or similar automotive manufacturing would be a strong asset.

Location: Scarborough, Ontario

Work Model: Primarily onsite, 4 to 5 days per week with some flexibility when needed

Compensation: $75K to $90K base + advantages

Travel: Limited
