Reporting to the Manager, Settlement and Structured Transactions, this Analyst settles energy market trades and long-term contracts. The work combines accounting validation, market-rule research, revenue allocation, reporting, and process analysis. It supports accurate financial and regulatory information across business strategies and legal entities.

Key Responsibilities:
Complete daily and monthly energy settlement tasks
Validate month-end accruals, invoices, and accounting entries
Develop shadow calculations using settlement charge-code algorithms
Prepare regulatory reports and verify data accuracy




Resolve settlement disputes with external counterparties

Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in business, economics, finance, or related discipline
Minimum two years of relevant work experience
Solid analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and within large teams
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Use settlement analysis, accounting validation, and market research to support Brookfield Renewable’s energy transactions and reporting.
