Prepare quality food and serve customers as a Prep Cook, using ingredient preparation, basic cooking, and kitchen sanitation skills. Canadian experience is not required.
As a Prep Cook, you will follow corporate standards, local regulations, and established procedures. You will support food service by preparing ingredients, straightforward dishes, and cooking components. The position requires previous prep cook experience, food safety knowledge, and effective communication. You will work from daily requirements provided by the Chef while maintaining organized kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Obtain daily production schedules and preparation requirements
Label and stock ingredients for organized access
Measure seasonings and prepare cooking ingredients
Complete basic cooking duties and straightforward dishes
Maintain clean, sanitary, orderly kitchen areas
Requirements:
Previous experience as a prep cook
Recognized cooking school certificate
Valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
Knowledge of kitchen health and safety rules
Ability to operate cutting tools and utensils
Bring prep cook experience, food safety knowledge, and organized kitchen skills to support consistent food preparation and service.
