Guide cutter-grind operations in Longueuil for Pratt & Whitney Canada, combining machining knowledge with safety, quality, and delivery oversight.
This full time, exclusively onsite Production Supervisor assignment runs Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. You will report to the Senior Manager of MED and Tooling Services within the Longueuil Manufacturing Center. Your leadership will support specialized cutting-tool manufacturing, standard-tool re-sharpening, and engine programs with tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily cutter-grind department operations
- Apply measures supporting performance, quality, delivery, and costs
- Communicate with engineering, programming, maintenance, and specialists
- Reduce non-quality and increase department efficiency
- Facilitate change management and employee engagement
Requirements:
- Minimum five years relevant manufacturing experience
- Minimum three years supervising manufacturing employees
- DEC or bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of manufacturing, programming, machining, and 5S
- Comfort with competing priorities and tight deadlines
