Industrial mechanical maintenance is central to this Keyera Millwright contract, supporting equipment reliability at the Empress Plant outside Medicine Hat, Alberta.
As a skilled, safety-focused Millwright, you will maintain and repair rotating and stationary equipment. The two-year temporary position requires technical drawing interpretation, precision tools, rigging equipment, and accurate documentation. Collaboration with operations, maintenance, and contractors supports secure daily plant activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete preventive and corrective maintenance according to procedures
- Use tools, measuring instruments, and rigging equipment safely
- Document equipment condition, work status, and follow-up needs
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Follow environmental, regulatory, permit, and lockout requirements
Requirements:
- Valid Journeyman Millwright ticket is required
- At least five years of gas plant operations experience
- Ability to read technical drawings and equipment specifications
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams
