This Pipe Combo Welder role focuses on assembling structural forms and industrial equipment from fabricated, cast, and forged components. You will align and weld pipe, tanks, pressure vessels, furnace shells, machinery frames, and related structures. The work requires industrial construction or maintenance experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lay out and align components for structural assemblies
- Weld pipe, plate, and structural steel components
- Install and repair boilers, towers, exchangers, and furnaces
- Work from blueprints, sketches, and detailed specifications
- Perform straightforward piping installations and equipment repairs
Requirements:
- At least four years industrial construction or maintenance experience
- Experience using arc and gas-shielded arc welding equipment
- Experience using gas welding equipment for assigned work
- Ability to produce quality work efficiently
- Willingness to assist other mechanics as required
