Industrial Firefighters and Emergency Medical Responders support emergency operations at industrial sites, stations, events, and designated locations. Duties may include fire suppression, patient assessment, rescue operations, and equipment readiness. Assignments depend on qualifications, training, and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to industrial fires and other emergency incidents
Perform suppression using handlines, pumps, and firefighting equipment
Provide medical standby coverage and emergency care
Participate in confined space and technical rescue
Inspect vehicles, equipment, PPE, and rescue tools
Requirements:
NFPA 1001 Firefighter Level I or II, as applicable
Current CPR and ICS 100 certifications
Valid driver's license appropriate to assigned duties
Current EMR, PCP, ACP, or equivalent qualification
Ability to work rotating schedules and accept deployments
Bring firefighting, emergency medical, rescue, and equipment readiness capabilities to USS operations across Alberta and Western Canada.
