This Grain Originator role supports farmers with grain marketing decisions, contract execution, and prospect identification. You will monitor markets, develop regional origination strategies, and maintain accurate documentation. Collaboration with elevator Operations, grain accounting, merchandising, and management supports effective producer marketing and resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor grain markets and communicate relevant insights
Develop and execute regional origination growth strategies
Identify opportunities to expand Snobelen’s customer base
Execute agreements, settlements,
and cheques accurately
Coordinate with elevators on capacity, quality, and scheduling
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Agriculture, Marketing, or equivalent
One to three-plus years in a related field
Eagerness to learn as a grain market expert
Robust attention to detail and information-processing accuracy
Discretion with confidential or sensitive information
