Support utility mapping and records accuracy at Canadian Niagara Power Inc., applying established GIS technology and Company standards. Work in Fort Erie within a full time permanent position.

As a GIS and Records Technician, you will produce drawings, maintain reliable records, and assist electrical utility projects. The work includes transmission, distribution, and joint-use surveys, land surveying records, and construction data. You will comply with applicable legislation, regulations, policies, and electric utility requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Compile, log, and maintain underground plant and joint-use records
- Produce construction drawings and as-built project information
- Perform transmission, distribution, and joint-use studies




- Assist with design work for company projects
- Ensure work follows relevant legislation and regulations

Requirements:

- Two-year technology program completion
- Valid Class G Ontario Driver’s Licence
- Acceptable knowledge of departmental procedures
- Experience with mapping applications
- Acceptable knowledge of electric theory elements
