Support mobile equipment reliability through fluid sampling and lubrication management at Musselwhite Mine in Northwestern Ontario, working 12-hour days and nights.
Equinox Gold is seeking a Mobile Lubrication Technician for its underground gold mine. Reporting to the Reliability Supervisor, you will complete sampling routes, review oil conditions, and adjust frequencies with Mobile Reliability Technicians. The position also supports maintenance coordination, filter management, and accurate records. Musselwhite operates within Equinox Gold’s portfolio and has produced more than six million ounces of gold since 1997.
Key Responsibilities:
Prioritize sampling criticality with Mobile Reliability Technicians
Adjust sampling frequencies according to results and priorities
Coordinate oil sample container processing with Warehouse team members
Maintain filter carts through regular preventive maintenance
Attend lubrication OEM training and improvement meetings
Requirements:
Understand mobile equipment through certification, trades experience, or training
Understand Maintenance best practices and Reliability Centered Maintenance theory
MLT1 or MLA1 certification preferred but not required
Demonstrate excellent written, interpersonal, listening, and communication skills
Show computer literacy; Microsoft Word, Excel, Projects, and SAP are assets
