We are seeking a motivated and experienced Shipping & Receiving associate to work in Brantford.
Pay Rate: $22/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 4pm-1am. Training will be on the day shift
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Shipping & Receiving team.
Assign dock doors and prioritize workloads to maintain a smooth, bottleneck-free flow of trailers and ocean freight containers.
Monitor shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely and accurate handling of freight.
Provide hands-on training, coaching, and mentorship to recent warehouse employees and equipment operators.
Act as the primary point of contact on the warehouse floor to address loading delays, pallet quality concerns, and staging discrepancies.
Qualifications
Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics.
Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse setting.
Robust organizational and problem-solving skills.
Experience operating or overseeing the operation of warehouse equipment.
Excellent communication and team-building abilities.
