Construction engineering and structural analysis are central to Allnorth’s infrastructure work. This Structural Engineer prospect is based in Gander or St. John’s, Newfoundland.
As a Structural Engineer, you will develop practical solutions for industrial, commercial, construction engineering, and infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities include finite element analysis, agile analysis, code application, and reviewing technical documentation. You will also collaborate with contractors, clients, project managers, and multidisciplinary professionals throughout project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop practical structural solutions balancing safety and functionality
Analyze structures using finite element and dynamic methods
Apply building codes, seismic requirements, and sustainability standards
Collaborate with contractors, clients, and multidisciplinary project teams
Identify and resolve technical and scheduling challenges
Requirements:
Qualified Engineer registration or ability to obtain it
Relevant construction engineering and infrastructure design background
Four-plus years in an engineering consulting environment preferred
Understanding of seismic design principles and applicable standards
Strong organization and time-management skills
