Our growing Brantford client who is a leader in manufacturing is looking for Machine Operators/ Baggers to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years related experience and will also have their forklift license. The are straight nights available, and Weekend Days available. The following are the responsibilities:Job Duties and Responsibilities:Start-up and shutdown of machinesComplete pre-start checklists and daily production reportsAssist with scheduled maintenance (bi-weekly)Monitor belts to ensure no jams, stoppages, overall performance of machineMonitor metal detectors and look for contaminants in material (metal, wood, debris,
etc.)Troubleshoot equipment issues and adjust as requiredCurrent Forklift Licence & previous experience with forkliftAssist other operators when requiredFill hoppers with processed rubberStage materials on the plant floorEnsure continual feed of material to hoppers to keep production goingRequirements:Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detailMust be mechanically inclined with valuable problem-solving skillsExcellent attendance & punctualityFast learner who is able to follow instructionsAble to stand for duration of shift and constantly lift up to 50lbsPrevious experience as a machine operator in a production/manufacturing facility is an assetStraight Nights Continental- 7pm-7:15am - $21.34/hrWeekend Days- 7am-7pm Sat and Sun - $20.34/hrTHESE ARE PERMANENT JOBS WITH BENEFITSIf you are interested then please apply asap.
