Use mechanical engineering expertise to evaluate AI reasoning remotely for Alignerr, with flexible hourly contract assignments from 10–40 hours weekly.
As a Mechanical Engineering AI Trainer, you will challenge, evaluate, and improve AI models’ handling of complex engineering problems. You will create problems across fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, FEA, heat transfer, kinematics, and material science. The work also involves technical writing, standards review, and accurate analysis of AI-generated outputs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design advanced real-world mechanical engineering problems
- Write detailed step-by-step benchmark solutions
- Audit CAD logic, proofs, and material specifications
- Identify reasoning errors and provide structured feedback
- Complete task-based assignments independently and remotely
Requirements:
- Pursuing or holding a relevant master’s or doctoral degree
- Knowledge of core mechanical engineering areas
- Clear written communication of complex technical concepts
- Precision with derivations, units, and physical constraints
- Self-motivated approach in asynchronous independent work
Apply mechanical engineering, technical writing, and standards knowledge to improve how AI reasons through engineering challenges.
