Use AutoCAD and Amada programming knowledge at Garland to develop CNC programs and optimize nesting for sheet metal production. Work across office and manufacturing settings.
As a CNC Programmer, you will review engineering packages, create production programs, and update them for engineering or manufacturing changes. The position collaborates with supervisors and plant personnel while supporting cycle-time reduction, material optimization, and daily production requirements. Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems also applies.
Key Responsibilities:
Review manufacturing packages from Design Engineers
Generate and modify CNC programs for production
Optimize progressive nesting and reduce material waste
Assist with press brake programming and setup
Support continuous improvement and production scheduling
Requirements:
Two to four years of manufacturing CNC programming experience
AutoCAD proficiency and solid mathematical skills
Amada programming and nesting software experience preferred
Ability to interpret drawings, bills of materials, and tolerances
ERP or MRP systems familiarity
