Use treatment planning and patient dosimetry expertise within Radiotherapy Physics at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Oxford.

This permanent, full time post is for an experienced Principal Clinical Technologist or Dosimetrist. The service uses Varian linacs, Eclipse, ARIA, CT simulation, HDR brachytherapy, and advanced planning functionality. Adaptable working and satellite-based arrangements may be available, subject to suitability and service needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform calculations and measurements for patient treatment planning
Use medical images and software for patient contouring
Check treatment plans for accurate patient dosimetry
Advise healthcare professionals on planning issues
Investigate equipment problems and recommend remedial action

Requirements:
Experience as a Clinical Technologist or Dosimetrist
RCT or HCPC registration
Capability with complex radiotherapy treatment planning
Understanding of radiotherapy equipment quality assurance
Ability to support staff training and technique development
