Design cloud-based backend services at BlackLine while applying clean coding and troubleshooting skills in a hybrid workplace model.

As an Associate Software Engineer, you will help deliver high quality releases for BlackLine customers. Your work includes backend service development, feature optimization, technology evaluation, and collaboration with other teams. You will communicate with people at all levels while contributing to BlackLine’s Finance Automation product suite.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop BlackLine’s cloud-based backend services
- Troubleshoot, maintain, optimize, and scale backend services
- Research, test, benchmark, and evaluate current technologies
- Collaborate with teams to define and build new features
- Write clean code and optimize existing features
