Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital is expanding its Emergency Team for experienced Registered Veterinary Technicians. You will transition robust clinical foundations into emergency triage with expert mentorship and provided training. The hospital supports urgent patient care through anesthesia, surgery, diagnostics, and discharge collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
Prioritize incoming urgent care needs through emergency triage
Stabilize critical patients during initial assessment
Manage anesthesia for life-saving emergency surgeries




Monitor post-operative recovery and complex patient cases
Collaborate with DVMs and specialists on treatment plans

Requirements:
Proven Registered Veterinary Technician clinical or hospital experience
Eligibility for RVT registration in Ontario
Technical skills in venipuncture and IV catheter placement
Experience with anesthesia monitoring and patient assessment
Compassionate communication and adaptability in changing priorities
