Lead remote clinical pharmacy operations through formulary management and drug utilization review for Centene’s corporate and regional goals.
The Manager develops, implements, and administers clinical pharmacy tools and programs. This fully remote position requires people leadership and managed care or PBM operations experience. Key areas include clinical edits, prior authorization, claims adjudication, and pharmacy advantage administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct clinical pharmacy activities through subordinate staff
Develop and maintain formulary and utilization programs
Coordinate clinical programs across functional departments
Monitor quality assurance and regulatory compliance standards
Oversee recommendations for Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee approval
Requirements:
Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school
One to three years of clinical pharmacy experience
Four years in progressively responsible managed care positions
At least two years in a management role
Current unrestricted state Registered Pharmacist license
