Agilus is recruiting for a CNC Programmer in Concord, Ontario. This is an excellent prospect for a skilled CNC qualified with experience programming and operating multi-axis machining centres. You'll play a key role in producing precision aluminum components, collaborating with engineering and production teams, and driving continuous process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

A typical day:
Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software
Set up and operate CNC machines, tooling, fixtures, and work-holding devices




Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
Perform first-off inspections and make program adjustments as required
Troubleshoot machining, tooling, programming, and equipment issues
Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams
Maintain compliance with quality standards and health and safety requirements

Successful candidates will have:
Complete a diploma or certificate in CNC Programming, Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field
Demonstrate at least 2 years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing setting
Possess experience programming and machining on CNC equipment
Show experience with 4-axis or 5-axis CNC machining centres
Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
Utilize CAD/CAM software to create and optimize machining programs
Troubleshoot machining processes and improve operational efficiency
Communicate effectively while working collaboratively across departments
