We are a law firm located in Vaughan, Ontario, that represents financial institutions, and we are currently seeking a Junior Law Clerk specifically because our previous clerk has been promoted into a more senior role within the firm. This opening is a direct result of our commitment to internal career development, and we are looking for an ambitious individual to be our next success story.

This is an ideal entry-level position for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced legal environment.

We require at least one year of experience working in a law firm environment.

Please note that a car is necessary to do banking and registered mail.

Work location: 100% In-person

Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicating with clients and any visitors to the firm in a qualified manner.
Receipt of mail and scanning to our system.
Conducting searches in Teraview, MTO, PPSA and corporate searches.




Filing and organizing files.
Assisting lawyers and other staff members.
Banking
Additional tasks as required.

Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience working in a law firm.
Legal Assistant/Law Clerk certification from a recognized institution.
Excellent attention to detail, and time management skills.
Robust working knowledge of MS Office, Adobe
