Analyze retail sales, costs, and profitability as a Commercial Accountant supporting business performance from Kimberley, Northern Cape.
This accountant partners with commercial teams to understand business drivers and identify performance opportunities. The work covers management reporting, budget variance analysis, forecasting, and pricing support. You will also develop models for current products and initiatives while maintaining accurate commercial financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze profitability and commercial business trends
Prepare performance reports, budgets, and monthly forecasts
Evaluate pricing strategies and promotional effectiveness
Model current products and business initiatives financially
Maintain accurate financial data and internal controls
Requirements:
Accounting or Finance bachelor's degree required
Qualified qualification such as CIMA or ACCA preferred
Minimum three years' relevant commercial experience
Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
Retail or FMCG experience is advantageous
