The platform processes 200+ TB daily across hundreds of services and 80+ Kubernetes clusters. Your work will advance wide events, log sampling, and instrumentation for agentic development.Key Responsibilities:

8+ years designing and launching backend systems at scalePython or Kotlin experience developing distributed backend systemsAWS, MySQL, Flink, Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, Kafka, or TerraformExperience operating high-volume metrics, logs, or tracesStrong communication across global engineering teamsBring scalable backend engineering, observability judgment, and technical leadership to Affrim’s remote Canada platform team.
