This community nursing prospect is open to Registered Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses with diverse backgrounds. CareKW’s responsibilities include patient and family-centred care, respiratory and physical assessments, suctioning, feeding support, and daily-living assistance. Every shift requires careful documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide patient and family-centred care
Complete head-to-toe physical patient assessments
Perform tracheostomy or oral suctioning
Assist with activities of daily living
Collaborate on patient plans of care
Requirements:
Solid documentation and clinical skills
High level of interpersonal skills
Current CNO registration and positive standing
Valid work or study permit, if applicable
Access to a vehicle considered an asset
Use community nursing expertise, patient monitoring, and collaborative care skills while serving CareKW clients in Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge.
