This Sales Associate position serves families shopping for dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, and small animals. You will use your knowledge and experience to provide customer service, operate the point-of-sale system, prepare orders, and stock merchandise. Pet Valu stores also support local pets in need through shelters, rescues, charities, adoption events, food banks, and fundraising campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:
Help Pet Parents select nutrition and pet care solutions
Provide cashier service and complete customer sales
Prepare merchandise orders, banking, and miscellaneous paperwork




Place pet supplies into stock across the sales area
Assist with delivery unloading and inventory stocking

Requirements:
Retail or customer service experience
Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems
Friendly, outgoing approach and robust service skills
Ability to lift fifty pounds repeatedly
Scheduled availability, including possible weekends and evenings
