GFL seeks an experienced Truck and Transport or Heavy Equipment Mechanic for its Winnipeg Fleet Maintenance division. The successful candidate maintains mobile and stationary equipment, completes mechanical repairs, and supports fleet safety. Previous leadership experience is ideal for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnostic work
- Repair engines, transmissions, driveline, brakes, and hydraulic systems
- Test repaired equipment for correct performance and operation
- Document completed repairs accurately, legibly,



and descriptively
- Communicate with Shop Foreman, Lead Hand, and Parts Coordinator

Requirements:

- Two years’ Truck and Transport or Heavy Equipment experience
- Class 5 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities
- Own hand tools and storage toolbox
- Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed
