Support client care at Phoenix Society as a casual Health Care Aide in Rising Sun, using care plans and trauma-informed service.

Working under a Licensed Practical Nurse or designate, you assist clients with life skills and established care plans. The role supports patients with physical, psychiatric, or concurrent substance misuse disorders. You will contribute to interdisciplinary care, safety, documentation, and respectful communication.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with life skills and pre-established care plans
- Record vital signs, measurements, specimens, and care observations
- Support hygiene, feeding, positioning, transfers, and mobility
- Respond to call bells, alarms, and emergent situations
- Maintain secure rooms, equipment, supplies, and patient information

Requirements:

- Grade 12 and Resident Care Attendant Certificate
- Current registration with the BC Care Aid Registry
- One year recent related experience, or equivalent qualifications
- Current First Aid 1 and CPR certificates
- Valid driver's license and required screenings
