As a Housekeeping Worker, you will clean public, patient, and office areas throughout the hospital. This casual/relief assignment is classified as Environmental Service Worker and covered by the COV AUPE GSS agreement. Shift patterns include days, evenings, nights, and weekends, with varying hours and cycle details.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness across public hospital areas
Disinfect patient spaces and related areas
Clean office areas within assigned locations
Collect waste from public, patient, and office spaces
Perform housekeeping work within Environmental Services
Requirements:
Grade 10 completion or recognized equivalent required
Additional required qualifications as required
Preferred qualifications as required
Casual/relief employee class availability
Availability across days, evenings, nights, and weekends
Apply housekeeping, hospital cleaning, and disinfection capabilities while supporting waste collection across designated hospital areas.
