Advance clinical learning in Eastern Zone as a Clinical Nurse Educator with Nova Scotia Health, supporting evidence based practice and education programs.
Reporting to the Manager, Interprofessional Practice and Learning, this permanent full time position supports clinical knowledge translation. You will design, implement, monitor, and evaluate orientation and ongoing education. The work strengthens team-oriented person centered care across interprofessional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess clinical learning needs with key stakeholders
- Plan and implement orientation and ongoing education programs
- Monitor and evaluate education using learner centered approaches
- Provide advice and consultation supporting professional practice
- Advance evidence based standards of care
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Active Nova Scotia Nursing and Midwifery Regulator license
- Three years clinical nursing experience within the last five years
- Early Years Public Health Nursing experience required
- Basic Life Support certification and specialty certification required
