Sandvik’s Red Seal Electrician maintains mechanical and electrical aspects of surface and underground mining equipment. The work includes Automation equipment, commissioning, customer-site training, and preventive repairs. You will read hydraulic and electrical schematics, diagnose equipment issues, and complete maintenance reports. This customer-facing position requires travel to local mine sites and across Canada as required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and service Automation equipment
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mining equipment components




- Commission Automation products at customer sites
- Conduct root cause analysis for common problems
- Coach customer technicians on servicing and maintenance principles

Requirements:

- Red Seal or relevant trade certification
- At least three years related heavy equipment experience
- Read hydraulic and electrical schematics proficiently
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical mining equipment issues
- Hold a valid driver’s license and travel as required
