Charger Logistics seeks an experienced Yard Security Guard for its asset-based carrier operation. The position requires security experience, strong observation, communication, and decision-making skills. You will monitor property, verify access, inspect equipment, document incidents, and coordinate with operational departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol yards, parking areas, buildings, and surrounding property
- Control vehicle and pedestrian access for authorized entry
- Verify identification and maintain accurate gate access records
- Monitor cameras and report suspicious activity or hazards
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, accidents, and security incidents
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence and Class G licence
- Minimum two years of security experience
- Minimum two years of G licence driving experience
- First Aid and CPR Level C certification
- Afternoon and night shift availability, including weekends and holidays
