Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent guest services, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred to ensure smooth operations and high-quality customer interactions.

Responsibilities
Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring efficient transaction processing and cash handling
Prepare and serve food items in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards
Assist with food preparation tasks, including basic cooking, plating, and portioning
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment through proper sanitation procedures
Provide exceptional guest services by addressing customer inquiries, upselling menu items, and ensuring a positive dining experience
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and order fulfillment
Handle cash register operations, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for transactions




Follow all food handling protocols to ensure safety and quality standards are met at all times
Support team members in various tasks as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations

Experience
Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is highly desirable
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Solid customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
Experience in food preparation, serving, cashiering, or hospitality roles is preferred
Ability to manage time efficiently during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks

Job Type: Part time

Pay: $17.80-$65.00 per hour
