This permanent full time Maintenance Technician role supports Burnbrae Farms’ site operations. You will maintain, test, and repair packaging, utility, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment. The position reports to the Manager, Maintenance, without direct reports. Practical food-manufacturing experience, diagnostic skills, and an accredited apprenticeship are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair processing and packaging equipment
- Adjust equipment for proper performance and safe operating conditions
- Document breakdowns and preventive maintenance in CMMS software
- Install, start up,
and shut down equipment safely
- Support continuous process improvements and required maintenance activities
Requirements:
- Practical experience with food-processing and packaging equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot instrumentation and programming failures
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic components
- Accredited apprenticeship, including 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright
- Three to five years’ experience or equivalent education
