Operate trucks and medium equipment for County road maintenance while using CDL driving skills and equipment servicing knowledge under supervision.

As an Equipment Operator II, you will support road, bridge, and right-of-way construction, repair, and maintenance. Duties include hauling materials, plowing snow, operating assigned equipment, and maintaining routine records. You will also service vehicles and equipment, make adjustments, and perform repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate trucks, loaders, tractor trailers, and medium equipment
- Haul sand, gravel, culverts, asphalt mix, and other materials
- Plow snow and sand roads using truck-mounted equipment
- Monitor, service, lubricate, and repair assigned equipment
- Patch roadways, maintain culverts, and remove roadway debris

Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED
- Two years operating trucks and related automotive equipment
- Valid CDL driver's license
- Knowledge of road construction, maintenance, materials, and methods
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor in diverse weather
