Keep a wide-ranging underground fleet operating safely with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repair skills at Lake Shore Gold in Timmins, Ontario. Full-time work includes rotating days and nights.

This Heavy Equipment Mechanic opportunity supports Timmins West Mine and Bell Creek Mine operations. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will complete shop repairs, underground field work, and on-call breakdown response. The position requires independent troubleshooting across tractors, jumbos, trucks, CAT equipment, and MacLean units, while communicating clearly with supervisors and crews.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and repair tractors, jumbos, and underground trucks
- Work across shop and underground field locations
- Return equipment to service after breakdowns




- Use manuals and digital diagnostic tools
- Follow site health, safety, and environmental procedures

Requirements:

- Red Seal certification or related mechanic experience
- Minimum two years mining or equivalent industrial experience
- Experience with CAT or MacLean units
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience in underground mining environments
