Teach Concert Band at the University of Manitoba with post-secondary instruction and subject-area specialization. The appointment runs January through April 2027.

This Sessional Instructor assignment covers Part B of MUSC 1180 T05, worth one credit hour and 50% of the course. You will prepare instructional and testing materials, teach and test students, assess coursework, provide feedback, and maintain office hours. The class meets Tuesdays from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m.

Requirements:

- Master's degree, Ph.D., or Ph.D. candidacy preferred
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills
- Background or specialization in the subject area
- Demonstrated competence in post-secondary teaching
- Empathetic approach to student instructional needs
