Lead responsible AI governance and enterprise analytics for the City of North Vancouver as a regular full time Director. Shape municipal transformation through data-driven decisions.

Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, this strategic leadership role oversees AI, data, analytics, and GIS functions. You will develop enterprise strategies, advise executives, and improve municipal service delivery. The position combines business acumen, innovation, technological expertise, and ethical stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain responsible AI governance frameworks, policies, and standards
- Lead enterprise AI, Data and Analytics Strategy development
- Advise executives on innovation, emerging technologies, and transformation
- Lead analytics, business intelligence, open data, and GIS initiatives




- Build capability through literacy, change management, and continuous improvement

Requirements:

- Ten or more years senior leadership business management experience
- Five or more years of AI experience
- Experience developing enterprise strategies and cross-organizational programs
- Knowledge of AI, analytics, GIS, privacy, security, ethics, and regulation
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills
