Apply advanced civil design expertise to site development, drainage, and transportation projects as an Intermediate or Senior Civil Designer at TBT Engineering.
This full-time role prepares and leads civil design work across multidisciplinary engineering divisions. You will apply AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InRoads, and OpenRoads while developing accurate, constructible designs. The position includes mentoring junior designers and coordinating technical work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review civil drawings, plans, and technical documentation
- Calculate grading, drainage, roadway, and utility network designs
- Coordinate designs with engineers, managers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Incorporate survey, geotechnical, and regulatory information
- Mentor junior designers and provide technical guidance
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
- Ten-plus years of relevant civil design experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InRoads, and OpenRoads
- Solid technical, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design work
