Deliver thorough healthcare cleaning with robust organization and time management while maintaining safe, orderly spaces throughout the establishment.
As a Housekeeper, you will perform light cleaning duties that maintain the establishment in a clean and orderly manner. You will clean and disinfect surgical procedure areas, washrooms, operating room tables, and other assigned surfaces. The work includes linen handling, floor care, garbage removal, emergency cleanups, and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and disinfect healthcare areas, surfaces, fixtures, and equipment
- Strip, wash, and make beds; collect and fold linen
- Damp mop hard floors and auto scrub as needed
- Vacuum carpets and complete carpet extraction when required
- Respond to emergency cleanups and remove garbage
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping experience is an asset
- Healthcare, hotel, or commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Positive verbal and written command of English
- Ability to follow instructions and lift up to 20 pounds
