Requirements :  The applicant should be a well-rounded, highly skilled carpenter and have extensive construction industry knowledge and no less than five (5) years working experience as a qualified Finish or Master Carpenter;  Experience will need to be proven in Staircase construction and installation; Interior and exterior finish carpentry; Door and window installation; Architectural trim and mouldings; Wood panelling and decorative finishes; Interior and exterior hardwood flooring installation; Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications; Material estimating and take-offs; Accurate measuring and layout techniques; Protected operation of woodworking machinery and power tools.  Must have: • a high level of detail to carpentry skills; • the ability to operate heavy machinery in order to complete tasks; • the ability to meet deadlines and complete projects on schedule; • the ability to build items such as furniture, staircases, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, doors, railings,



windows and shutters; also have the experience in the installation of these items; • the ability to take on a variety of tasks and while working under pressure;  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – Capable of maintaining effective working relationships with staff at all levels;  A mature self-motivator who can work independently with minimum supervision;  Candidate must be able to meet the physical requirements of this position;  Must be prepared to be called out at all hours.  Must obtain a valid Bermuda Intermediate Driver's Licence within six months of commencement of employment / Company vehicles can be utilized for practicing and testing;  Must obtain reliable transportation to and from work;  Must maintain all professional certifications required for the position while employed;  Must maintain medical fitness for duty as required and provide annual medical certificates as requested;
