Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Mechanical Designer to join a leading automation solutions provider within the life sciences industry based in Cambridge, ON.

You will be responsible for designing custom automation equipment for medical device and life sciences applications, working primarily in Solid

Works to develop mechanical stations and tooling from concept through completion.

You will perform engineering calculations, size and select pneumatic and mechanical components, and participate in design reviews.

The ideal candidate will have strong custom automation experience with Solid

Works, GD&T;, pneumatics, component selection, and mechanical engineering fundamentals.

Skills and Requirements - 3-5+ years of custom automation experience with the ability to independently design machine stations/components - Tooling design experience with solid GD&T; knowledge - Strong Solid

Works experience - Pneumatics experience - Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals, including engineering calculations,
