Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to join one of Canada's Big 5 banks, supporting a large-scale Commercial Payments / Real-Time Rail (RTR) initiative.

This individual will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a waterfall-based payments technology project, managing the initiative from planning and requirements through execution, implementation, and completion.

The ideal candidate has experience leading large, complex technology projects within a highly regulated financial-services environment and can effectively coordinate business, technology, and program stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities • Lead the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale Payments / RTR technology project using a waterfall delivery methodology. • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies, budgets, resource plans, and delivery schedules. • Establish and maintain strong project governance, including status reporting, risk management, issue management, and escalation processes. • Coordinate deliverables and dependencies across multiple technology and business workstreams. • Proactively identify delivery risks, roadblocks, and dependencies and drive appropriate mitigation and resolution. • Manage project scope, timelines, financials, resources, and overall delivery against committed milestones. • Partner closely with program managers, portfolio leadership, technology teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and other cross-functional teams.



• Prepare and deliver clear project updates and executive-level presentations to senior stakeholders.

Skills and Requirements • 7+ years of Project Management experience within banking or financial services. • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex, enterprise technology projects from end to end. • Strong waterfall project delivery experience. • Payments technology exposure. • Proven ability to establish and manage project governance, schedules, budgets, RAID logs, dependencies, and resource plans. • Experience coordinating multiple technology and business workstreams within a large program. • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills. • Real-Time Rail (RTR) experience. • Commercial Banking experience.
