Bento is hiring a Sushi Preparation Associate at Loblaws in Calgary, offering morning or daytime part time schedules two to four days weekly.
As a Food Service Team Member, you will prepare high-quality sushi while maintaining food safety and supporting daily kitchen operations. The schedule is 5:00 am to 1:30 pm or 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Training is provided, so previous sushi experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare sushi and other menu items to quality standards
- Maintain food safety compliance and accurate production logs
- Use Bento tools to update production and inventory data
- Track production and support kitchen operations
- Maintain Bento customer experience standards
Requirements:
- Required food service experience
- Sushi experience or Food Handler Certification is an asset
- Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards
- Solid communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to lift 20 kilograms and stand extended periods
