Support resident comfort and well-being as a Resident Care Attendant at AgeCare Brandt’s Creek Mews in Kelowna, BC, on a casual basis.

Reporting to the Director of Care or Resident Care Manager, you will support resident care services and nursing collaboration. The work includes personal care, transfers, feeding assistance, routine treatments, and observing resident conditions. You will contribute to Nursing Care Plans and interdisciplinary care conferences while following provincial standards, guidelines, regulations, and AgeCare policies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Observe and report resident condition changes promptly to the Nurse
- Assist with bathing, washing, dressing, changing, and personal comfort
- Transfer residents using appropriate lifts, belts,



and protective equipment
- Support feeding, nourishment, and appropriate resident diets
- Contribute observations to Nursing Care Plans and care conferences

Requirements:

- Registration with the BC Care Aide Registry
- Minimum HCA Provincial Certification
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- At least five years’ HCA or nursing designation experience
- Experience caring for residents with dementia
