Licensed LPN under BCCNM follow LPN scope of practice
- Assess residents' health status and monitor changes in condition.
- Provide nursing care according to individualized care plans.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living as required.
- Promote residents' dignity, privacy, comfort, and independence.
- Monitor vital signs and report abnormal findings.
- Current LPN registration and licensure in British Columbia.
- Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing program.
- Current CPR certification as required by the employer.
- Knowledge of geriatric nursing and dementia care.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of medication administration, wound care, and infection control.
